From Odalys of Odalys Mendez Photography… This southern rustic wedding took place in Senoia, Georgia. The couple wanted to incorporate their love of country living, simplicity, and southern charm into their day. The ceremony took place under an oak tree in front of a river. The vibrant color scheme of brown and turquoise was as cheerful and down to earth as the couple. The bride and groom made their exit in a jeep and went to a private “retreat” after the ceremony, where they toasted with champagne and took in the hilltop view from a rustic bench draped by an heirloom quilt made by the bride’s grandmother. The menu included old family recipes for biscuits and southern barbecue, and guests received homemade jam as a favor. The flower arrangements were a mix of traditional delicate roses and rustic twigs.
