From the dress that has us DYING over every inch of it’s gorgeous ruffles to an intimate backyard reception set in historic Savannah, this is one of those weddings that takes effortless to a whole new level of gorgeous. It isn’t east to go from glamorous to heart-warmingly homespun but these two pulled it off seamlessly and sealed it with a barefoot cupcake kiss on the front porch. How sweet is that? And with Lauren Kinsey Photography in charge of capturing the day, we are left with so many lovely images, it was hard not to post every single one, huge, in all its wedding glory. From Lauren Kinsey Photography…Meredith + Will were married in Savannah Georgia a couple weeks ago at Calhoun Square right in historic Savannah. All the details of the wedding were so wonderfully hand crafted by Meredith herself and her mother, even the little wands for guests to wave as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.
Meredith wanted a french country theme for the wedding, and the sweet bar provided for guests was a huge hit, including the cookies that a family friend made. Meredith only invited about 20 people to the wedding, most which were very close friends and immediately family.
Meredith is studying to be a pharmacist, since her father has been plagued with Parkinson’s Disease. Unfortunately, the week before the wedding, Meredith’s father fell and was very badly hurt, and Meredith was distraught that he may not be able to make it to the wedding. By God’s grace, he recovered in time, and was in the front row cheering Meredith and Will on. It was a lovely, perfect day.
