Greystone Wedding by ABJ Photography

Fall may be knocking on our doors but after staring at this lovely Atlanta wedding by ABJ Photography, I am going to revel in the loveliness of a warm weathered wedding for just a wee bit longer. The splashes of bright color, the cutest ruffled frocks by Carol Hannah, the peony bouquet and summery florals by Boukates, they all speak to my sun loving soul. Join me in the gallery for a proper goodbye to summer with more of this bright, happy day.

From ABJ PhotographyPat and Jennifer are not Atlanta natives, but as recent Emory Grads, they wanted to share “their” city with family and friends.  The entire weekend was wrapped in love from family, and guests attended various functions around the city throughout the weekend.  The main event though was their wedding in the heart of Atlanta’s Piedmont Park.  Jennifer wore heirloom earrings from her grandmother, bridesmaids wore dresses made just for them by Carol Hannah, and the guys brought humor with their fun socks.  Every element was thought through, and all the hand-made elements helped to make this event even more personal.

Venue: Greystone / Caterer: Sun in My Belly / DJ: Spectrum Entertainment / Florist: Boukates / Bridesmaid Dresses: Carol Hannah / String Quartet: GCSU String Quartet / Make-up: Karen Brushworx / Hotel: Loews Hotel / Wedding Photography: ABJ Photography / Wedding Day Coordinator: Surber Paz Weddings & Events

What a lovely wedding! I am an Atlanta bride as well and was wondering if the desserts were also catered by Sun in My Belly? Also were the men's suits rented, if so, may I ask where? Really love the park shots and the flowers too!

Thanks, Lydia! The desserts were also by Sun in My Belly (and were amazing!). The suits were purchased from Jos. A Bank.

Simply stunning. Jen you look breathtaking in the first picture. I can only hope to look that relaxed and fun loving on my special day. May I ask did you use a wedding planner or was this all you and your lovely family?

The BM dresses were from Carol Hannah. A link to her website is listed with the vendors above. :) They were so cute I wanted to get one too!

Susie - We did just about everything ourselves (my mom and sisters are amazing!). We did have a "day of coordinator" who made sure all went well during the wedding.
