Hello everyone,
I'm so excited to even post on this fantastic website. My fiance and I are getting married in Italy on October 10. I have picked sapphire/cobalt blue as the main colour for the wedding and am wondering what to put with it. I am thinking silver and then maybe the lightest of pinks. Please please tell me what you think. We are having the reception at a castle in the middle of nowhere in the rolling Italian hills – so it's quite country but at the same time it's in a castle so amazingly chic! And if anyone has seen any bridesmaid dresses in the blues mentioned please let me know as am struggling.
Many thanks and look forward to hearing your thoughts,
Katie

Hi Katie,
i read that you are using sapphire/cobalt blue in your wedding. I have a pair of beautiful heels that would tie in perfectly. They are exact replicas of the Manolo Blahnik “something blue' heels that Carrie wears in the Sex in the City movie on her wedding. They are real leather and satin with a gorgeous rhinestne brooch on the front! here are a few pictures. Let me know if you are interested!

Since the wedding is held at a castle, I assume the style is quite formal then? You can try browsing at Jessica McClintock, Dessy, Jim Hjelm's websites… they have great styles of bridesmaid dresses in so many varieties of colors.

I'm also going with colbalt/sapphire blue, but pairing it with rasberry (I love red roses, red lippy…) but softening it with ivory and pale blue.
