I am in the process of planning my wedding and I realized there are a lack of resources when it comes to gifts for the brides maids. I have seen a lot of ideas but most options seem to be pretty pricey or not very original. A lot of my friends have struggled with the same problem.
After noticing this void I decided to do something about it. I design a line of handbags so I started making custom clutches and bags for weddings. It is a really fun gift because it is something that is really personal that the girls can use the day of the wedding and will continue to use after and think of you. Many bridal bags that I have seen are really traditional and outdated but I design these to be fun and fashionable so they are a hit. Some brides opt to choose a different bag for each girl to reflect their individual style while others pick one style for all of the girls to have. Either way it is a fun gift and the price per bag ranges from $20-$65 depending on the materials and other aspects so it is a really affordable option. If you would like to learn more you can visit my website at http://www.modaviajando.com or send an e-mail to info@modaviajando.com.

| My friend just us bridesmaids the following. Everyone was really impressed:
* She named a piece of land after each of us ( http://www.ownapieceofamerica.us/ ) * Coach keychain wallets * Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa Gift Certificate * Swavorwski crystal earrings to wear to the wedding
All of these gifts were placed in a really cute tote bags that were engraved with each person's initials. |

I have small compact mirrors that have an antique, vintage look that I'm giving each BM. I'm also making small scrapbooks for each BM from when we met to the present. Creative Memories has digital scrapbook programs where you just scan or upload pics into the program to create a book. I thought each BM would really love something like this and it would be more meaningful. I'm also thinking of clutch purses. I only have 4 BM's and they've all been part of my life fore 15 years or more.

Can you tell me where you got the compact mirrors? That is a great idea.
Thanks

Check out etsy (http://www.etsy.com). Lots of the sellers make personalized jewelery, which is always nice. I'm a bridesmaid for a wedding next year, and I'd rather have a donation made in my name to something I'm passionate about than havea gift, but maybe thats just me. I'm also into photography, so maybe a pre wedding photoshoot with each girl, and then the picture in a personalized frame would be good. Just a few more ideas!
