I am planning my wedding for June 2010 on my parents farm. I am having a very rustic country theme. Instead of chairs, I want wooden benches for the ceremony and I don't know if I could get something like that anywhere. any ideas?

Hi there! We are planning our July wedding and are going for a rustic theme as well. We rented a private ranch for the week and they already have a few picnic tables with the detached benches which got me looking into the possibility of finding more to use. So far we have posted an ad on craigslist and emailed all the local churches (having a destination wedding). We have found a few so far doing this. Maybe you could do the same? Good luck with all your planning and I hope you find exactly what you're looking for!

instead of benches you could always use 2 straw bales and a board laid across them to make a 'bench'. If that works for you then you can take the stress out of finding benches. Good Luck with that! =)
