We're getting married on 06 Sept this year (1st weekend in Spring here) and I'm really struggling with deciding on our flowers.

We're getting hitched in Byron Bay (which is a very Bohemian rainforest town on the East Coast of Australia) and our colour palette is predominately grey/pink with hints of green. I've been told peonies are not available in Australia until much later in the year, so I'm really a bit stuck. I really don't want a formal bouquet. Just something fresh ?

Can I ask, what arrangements and flower types would you recommend for a very pink, very bohemian, very spring bouquet ??

Hi there,

First, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I adore the colour palette you've chosen. While I'm not from Australia I do have a few pink bouquet suggestions for you that you could bring to a local florist…

I would consider using….

Dahlia

Lysianthus

Snap Dragons

And local to Australia….

Boronia

Waratah

Wax Flower

Kangaroo Paw

Eriostemon

I hope it all works out for you!

Good luck!

I love roses, orchids, anemones, and peonies.

I have no idea what their availability in Australia is, but ranunculus would be another beautiful option for you.
