I need some help — We are purchasing a bunch of old milkglass vases in all different shapes and sizes from eBay to use as centerpieces in our Sept. wedding. Many of these vases are about 9 inches tall.

We plan to arrange about 3 bud vases together at the center of the table, but were wondering if you might have any other ideas for how to improve the display? Votives? What might look good in a centerpiece with milkglass?

Lots of tea light candles…if you are on a tight budget, use clear, simple ones. If you have a little bit more to spend, check out these from z gallerie. LOVE them and they got with the feminine, vintage charm of milkglass without being too matchy matchy.

These mercury glass ones are pretty great too…

Here is a post that we did where the designer used milk glass. Might help for inspiration!

We're actually doing the same for our May 2 wedding. We've collected enough to have 3 vases per table (varying sizes, patterns, etc.) and are using only white flowers. We've added votives as well. I bought clear glass votives online and then some lace trim from JoAnn Fabrics and covered each votive in lace. I love how they turned out.
