I have purchased an incredible amount of candles for my upcoming fall wedding. We had plans of starting the reception around 5, due to sunset being at 6:15 p.m. However, we're concerned of the photos inside the church. We cannot use a flash and there will be minimum light coming from the stain glass windows. Therefore, I've been toying with the idea of moving the reception to 3pm. Is this too early to use candles as a large segment of the reception? Will it look like I am being silly, or worse, cheap?
