I am having a vintage chic wedding and I have decided to incorporate green apples into my floral arrangements and will also be using them as my placecards. However, my fiance and I are avid travlerers and wanted to have a travel-themed wedding. Our invitations will look like airplane tickets, each table number will feature a landmark of our favorite cities, etc. Do you think the green apples and the travel theme will clash? Anyway that they can work together? I really love both concepts but want to avoid to avoid each taking away from the other. Thank you!

Incorporating green apples into your floral arrangements is an absolutely lovely idea!  If you want to maintain more of a travel theme perhaps eliminate the green apple place card holders, but it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.  I might suggest having a simpler white or coloured paper place card with a cute vintage like airplane taking off in the corner… or luggage tags perhaps tied around a rolled up napkin!   Good luck with your wedding plans…  Geneve McNally, DreamGroup Productions Wedding & Event Planners (Vancouver, BC)
