My sister held an Indian themed bridal shower for me with a henna artist they advertised for from gumtree.com (Aussie version of craigslist)

It was really fun and the decorations were fabulous, plus I got to experience the whole henna thing with my girlfriends, everyone seemed to enjoy it!

My bridal shower is coming up soon and I'm absolutely in love with the idea my Maid of Honor came up with.

The theme of the shower is “Date Night'.  Guests are asked to make a basket with complete items for a date night.  Some examples of baskets:

*Movie date – a dvd, bag of popcorn, sodas

*Picnic date – picnic basket with plates, cups, and a grocery store gift card

*Sexy date – massage oils, champagne, and a cd with soft music

I am so excited to see what people come up with!
