I'm having the hardest time deciding on how many bridesmaid's I want in my wedding.  It's either going to be a huge group (10 or 11) or my two sisters.  I want all my friends ”by my side” but at the same time I really don't want a giant bridal party.  I thought about having the girls pick a dress within my color scheme but then I guess it's still the same thing.  I also thought that @ the wedding the girls could have a reserved row which would kind of mean it's my ”bridesmaid's” but at the same time let them know I want them close by my side.  Maybe give them each something special to wear/hold etc.?

My groom has a huge group too or can narrow it down to 3-4 so it's one of those things I just can't decide.

Anyone have any other suggestions/ideas etc??

If you have so many friends that you cannot choose- I would just stick with the family.  That way nobody's feelings get hurt and you can keep your wedding party small.  Then you can do something special for your friends- ask them to all wear some variety of the same color dress and give them each a matching shawl (my friend had her girlfriends wear black dresses- cuz everyone has one! and then gave them each a special pashmina in different bright colors).  That way they are included and seen as important to you but without all the formal fuss. Hope this helps!
