There's plenty of advice out there for how guests should behave at a wedding, but rarely does one find a mention of how brides should conduct themselves. Yes, I know it's “your day” but that doesn't give anyone license to morph into a shrill dictator, or it shouldn't, anyhow.
Having just survived my sister's excruciatingly elaborate wedding as a bridesmaid, I put together a few gentle suggestions for brides to consider on their “special day” so that not only do they have a wonderful wedding, but also a few friends left afterward.
I'd love to hear you all weigh in on the subject of bridal etiquette. Does the white dress give a bride the freedom to behave however she likes, or are there limits?
