Hi all!  So i am having my wedding in November since fall is my favorite time of year…though we are not having a fall theme by any means.  As of right now we are about tapped out budget wise and i haven't come up with any decor for our ceremony.  My fiance and i are getting married in a beautifully restored old Catholic church in his very small home town.  My idea was to create “trees” out of bare branches and paint them champagne. I would hang chandelier crystals from the branches and possibly get some rose buds to wire on.  SO, does this sound to modern for an older church or too “Christmasy”? I'm very unsure how it will look but i know i don't want a traditional (and expensive!) altar arrangement.  Any feedback or other ideas would be appreciated!

Hi Barbara,

I did something very similar for my wedding. If you want to email me at Mekala@tiethatbindsweddings.com, I'll send a few pictures along. My suggestion- curly willow branches, MORE flowers (I used faux and glued them on the branches) and obvious crystals. painting them white might look a little Christmasy, but using pink flowers might look cherry blossom beautiful :)
Thanks!
