We're planning a small intimate affair in New Orleans for about 30 guests (mostly from out of town). The venue is beautiful…it's an old rustic jazz club that in no way screams wedding (which is why I love it). I would like to incorporate vintage 1940's glam and still have a rustic setting at the same time. I have two color palettes that I am considering – royal red / chocolate or burnt orange/ivory/gold & and hint of chocolate. Do you guys think that one or the other is more appropriate for our vintage, New Orleans theme?

Most definitly the burnt orange/ivory/gold with a few hints of chocolate.  This color palette has a lot of depth and the potential to bring alot of different elements into the decor and other elements.  It also relates to a more rustic and rich feel that is vintage 40's glam.
