Hi,

I am having a huge dilemma with my “color scheme” I love so many ideas on this blog, but I can't seem to get my feel.

I was proposed to in December of 2008 and my wedding is in November..on a Sunday of this year. My reception is at a restaurant overlooking the beach here in Miami. Its amazing! it has Palm Trees everywhere, it is completely covered in Bougainvillea's everywhere, very peaceful Rustic place. The reception will take place outside, but its in November.

With the Palm Trees, Bouganvillas, I don't know where to begin with flowers!!

As for colors, I keep getting advice on having to do Browns and dark colors which I am not really fond of. EXCEPT, I love the color black, but my H2B despises the color, although I find it amazing.

Since it is a fall wedding and it has a tropical feel with the beach background…what do you recommend?

Although it is a Fall wedding, but with all the gorgeous sunshine, palm trees & beach surrounding you, there's really no Fall weather in Miami, right?  Why not treat it as a summer wedding when you already have a wonderful natural landscape as your backdrop?

In the year of 2009, bold colors are very “in”.  Having you loving black, you might want to consider matching it with some bright yellow like sunflowers or orangey/coral colors like gerbera, and have a hint of palm tree green as accent color? Just a thought.

Go with the colors of the bogenvillia, deep pinks, and oranges.  Use the black as an accent, that way the H2B won't be overwhelmed.
