I am using similar colors in my wedding, chocolate brown, pale pink and ivory.  Many people thought that the dark brown was too dark for a July wedding but I think (and hope) it will work well.  I could also see light pink and sage green with white, that would be very pretty.  It would be very light and airy for a hot month of the year.  This might be good for an early evening or an afternoon wedding.  For tuxes we went with black because they are classic (I don't want my kids laughing at me in twenty years, although they probably will anyway).  We put the ushers in black tuxes as well with brown vests and ties and an ivory shirt it actually looks better than I expected.  If you don't like the idea of a black (or any color) tux I always thought that Kakies and a nice button down would be very classy.  J Crew has some good looks and the groom could have a matching suit.
