My favourite colour is green – specifically mint green.

Although I would love for my bridesmaids to wear my colour I am concerned that in years to come I'll look back and think “Green!?! What the heck was I thinking?”

Our Fall 2010 wedding will be very traditional, classy & elegant.  My thought was that champagne, ivory/cream & green would work well. 

However, someone recently pointed out to me that it might be difficult to use champagne as a colour because there is so much room for interpretation of it.  I suppose the same goes for green.

I am not sure what to do. Any thoughts? Switch colour palette? What shade of green?

Having the classy champagne & cream color, it will look so serene with mint green.  Have you thought of pairing champagne, cream, mint & sage green together?  That way, you can stick with your favourite mint green, and also have a darker shade within the color family to create a sophiscated wedding.
