Style Me Pretty Florida Welcomes Our Advertisers + A GIVEAWAY!

If there is one thing we love to do more than anything here at SMP, it’s spend some quality time with the new additions to our advertising family.  Yep, those fab vendors that inspire us on a daily basis, keep us in a continual state of awe and seriously deliver the pretty.  And today’s oh-so-amazing new advertiser?  The ever-wonderful Ceremony Design Company, a stellar team of designers and planners that are all about guaranteeing your dream day with SEVEN amazing wedding packages (with three tiers each!) and the know-how to turn your wedding into an absolute vision.  We love them.

From Ceremony Design Company… Ceremony Design Company, located in the Florida Panhandle, has just launched seven packaged wedding concepts, with 3 Tiers in each category, to help you celebrate your wedding day in style!

We know you’re out there. You love the wedding blogs (even the ones from states you don’t live in!). You love the idea of DIY to save money, but free time just doesn’t exist in your life. You love Pinterest and Etsy but can’t seem to focus your design ideas so they all work together to create your dream event. You’re on the search for a wedding “look” already put together so you can concentrate on the fun part–the details!

With every design concept, we had you in mind. We wanted our preppy girls to feel right at home. We wanted the rustic, bohemian brides to have beach decor options. And most importantly, we wanted to send the “warm fuzzies” to your wedding day budget spreadsheet. What better way to do that than to roll all of your wedding needs together in a package, give it a fun name and tie it up with a pretty bow!

Each design concept can be tailored to meet your taste and budget. Keep it as simple as you like, or layer on the details! You can also make special requests. In fact, we love special requests. It just means we get to know you better. Don’t you love that? Options, without any fees or hassle. Just ask.

In celebration of our recent launch, we’d like to give away one Tier 2 Wedding Package of your choice + a Reception Decor Package for 50 guests. Need a venue? We’re giving that away, too. Gulf Place on 30-A is offering one of their three private beach access points or the North Green for your wedding ceremony, and their brand new reception venue called The Event Loft for your reception.  Just head on over to the Ceremony Design Company blog for all of the details and to enter to win!

But, wait… there’s even more. The newly re-branded Mad Love Weddings Photography team, Ashley and Deanie, are giving one lucky SMP reader an Engagement Session, complete with disk and one 16×20 print. (Value $400)  Now that’s a celebration!  To enter, head on over to the Ceremony Design Company blog, enter to win the fabulous wedding giveaway above and then leave a comment below on this post telling us that you entered.  The winner, chosen completely at random, will be announced right here on SMP on Friday, April 19th.  For terms and conditions, click here.  Good luck, lovelies!

Santa Rosa Island Inspired Shoot from Aislinn Kate Photography

You know who has the power to make an already uber-gorgeous inspiration shoot even more gorgeous?  Two real-life cuties.  That’s who. Two real-life cuties who happen to be this close to saying “I do” and smile as if the world is theirs in each and every photo.  (It sooo is.)  And when an adorable duo like that joins forces with the ever-fabulous Hemstitch Vintage Rentals and the crazy-wonderful Aislinn Kate Photography for a whole lot of “Message in a Bottle” pretty?  It makes for one magical Monday.  See it all in the full gallery.

From Aislinn Kate Photography… This is a styled shoot. We started with the theme of “Message in a Bottle,” which was inspired by our choice of location (my Nana’s beach house). Every detail we used was inspired by our location, theme, and models (who are my real-life clients, getting married next year). Here is a breakdown of the details and how we developed them.

The aisle markers are giant sea glass bottles, filled with rolled parchment. Antique bottles appear in almost every set.

Fresh herbs, picked from garden (groom is a gardener and chef). The aisle was strewn with crushed rosemary and lavender (the ceremony smelled as good as it looked). Lavender and rosemary-infused lemonades. Favors were potted rosemary plants propagated from the groom’s backyard (favor tags feature the line from Hamlet: “Rosemary, that’s for remembrance…”).

Vintage lace was rapped around napkins, tying herbs onto lemonade jars, strung across the rusty grill for the escort cards to hang to with clothespins, to – most dramatically – created a luscious backdrop of a lace waterfall during the ceremony.

Reclaimed furniture, found in yard sales and relatives’ attics. The piano bench is my favorite piece (we used it as the altar piece, seating at the dining table, and as a display for the paper products). Paper products are handmade with natural material, such as cork and burlap, in addition to traditional cardstock.

Since our couple is very literary, we incorporated quotations from Shakespeare (the bride’s second true love!) onto everything. All the paper products are made using the same materials and color palette: invitations, save-the-dates, response cards, menu, escort cards, favor tags, signage.

The veil is a true heirloom, having been worn in the mother-in-law’s wedding and loaned to the bride as “something old.” We love how the lace on it coordinates with the vintage lace carried throughout the shoot!

From Red Fly StudioAfton and Layne had such a lovely southern wedding. Loving friends and family traveled from far and close to see this sweet couple get married. They picked the perfect southern venue for their wedding; Goodwood has so many pretty spots for photos that we could have kept these two all day. One of the things we loved about Afton and Layne was they were so excited to get married. You can just tell back their faces how happy the are. We loved so much about their wedding: the suits, the dresses, the ceremony under the gorgeous oaks, the neat details at the reception. And we loved their bobble head cake topper! The reception was so fun; Afton and Layne could really cut a rug. Congrats, you two!
