Another week of lovely has come to an end here on Style Me Pretty Florida and, as per usual, I am already giddy with excitement for Monday morning. Luckily, I’ll have these gorgeous Delray Beach nuptials by Sara Kauss Photography to get me through the weekend. With an oh-so-charming color palette of green and blue, a shorts-wearing groom and a could-not-be-prettier location, Erin Lynn Events planned the perfect beachside soiree. Caitlin and Billy met in October 2005 while Caitlin waitressed at a local bar, Sundown Saloon in Greenwich, CT. Engaged in November 2009, without any real direction for the wedding until an Easter 2010 trip to visit Peggy Laughter (Groom’s Grandmother) in Delray Beach, who had the perfect spot in mind…. The Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club in Delray Beach, Florida.
The idea was perfect, and really a great match for the wedding couple as they both grew up along the water in Connecticut and love everything about the ocean. All decisions/wedding plans were made based on a simple, clean and classy style. The attire was selected by both bride and groom; shorts and bow-ties were the vision for both from the start! Also, the goal was to keep it “all in the family” using the special trade-skills of the bride and groom’s close family and friends to help make it all come together. It took one fun “girls weekend” with her mother and a few bridesmaids, and two additional trips down to Florida over the course of the next 14months to make it all happen.
Much of the overall planning and design was done up in Connecticut by the bride with help from her wedding planner, Erin Lynn Pangerl, from Erin Lynn Events. Erin was able to coordinate and provide the bride with a host of vendors located in Palm Beach County and she was able to facilitate communication amongst them and ease the challenges of a “destination” wedding.

Loved, loved, loved everything about this wedding. I am planning a beach wedding and I'm having grave difficulty finding a venue that would compliment my style. Nonetheless having reside in Delray Beach all my life I've never heard of The Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club; until now. Is this member only "community" or are the open for weddings etc.? Please advise.

Dominique...Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club is a member only "community"...sorry!!!! I did find that there are plenty of private homes available to rent..have you considered that?! best of luck!!!
