I have a confession to make. The only place in Florida I have ever visited is Disney World and I have a feeling I’m missing something spectacular. When I imagine the sunshine state, it looks a lot like this dreamy engagement session by Shipra Panosian Photography – hazy, lush, green and wildly romantic. This also looks a lot like the perfect date – tandem bicycle ride, homemade lemonade and cookies and cooling off with a private canoe ride. Matthew and Briana wanted to evoke the feel of a laid-back summer day in the Sunshine State so what better place to meet for their engagement session than Wekiva Springs? Wekiva Springs is an natural cool spring in Central Florida that is surrounded by lush greenery and a variety of wild walking trails. Briana found a vintage bikini online and we met a little after sunrise at the Springs so that we could take advantage of some solitude before the crowds arrived. After some time lazing in a canoe at the mouth of the Spring, we made our way down one of the park’s trails for some photographs with their tandem bike since the bike is their get-away vehicle for after the wedding. They cooled down with lemonade and Briana baked cookies since they are opting out of a cake for the wedding in favor of her favorite treat… cookies.
