Imagine whisking away to a beautiful island where you’re greeted by a heavenly spread of s’mores and ice cream. Then parading through town with a beaming bride and groom behind the coolest accordion player to an idyllic reception where a great Italian feast ensues complete with your own personal lemoncello di testani. The night ends against the backdrop of the the most perfect sunset and lounging under the stars. Sound absolutely divine? Yeah, we thought so too. Kelly McWilliams of Weddings by Socialites made this dream destination experience come true for these two lovebirds and their lucky guests. This beautiful destination wedding was located on the quaint island of Boca Grande, Florida. The welcome reception included a warm fire pit with a s’more station and ice cream treats. The ceremony was held in the newly renovated St. Andrews Episcopal Church, which had an antique flair lit by brass lanterns which created a homey feeling among all who attended. The finishing touch to the pews were hydrangea and ribbon. The red door to enter the chapel was adorned with a starfish made up of white floral blooms.
All the wedding guests paraded to the reception site led by the bride and groom and an accordion player, where they enjoyed a cocktail hour and socialized among familiar faces. The reception was held in a breathtaking white draped tent outlined by glimmering crystal chandeliers. The floral throughout was composed of purple hydrangeas, white gladiolus, and l peonies. The dessert table was overflowing with three classic cakes and matching cupcakes. Guests were thrilled to see the Cigar roller available for their enjoyment, and they smoked under the stars in the outdoor lounge.

My family went on vacation to Boca Grande for a couple of years, so I'm sure this was the perfect setting for an obviously gorgeous wedding. Congratulations!
This is beautiful!! Does anyone know where she got those lantern centerpieces? I'm looking for something just like that!
Beautiful wedding! Does anyone know where she got her shoes?
so fresh!! love it!! another fantastic job from weddings by socialites!!!
Thank you for posting a beautiful plus size bride! In a world where fashion and particularly wedding style excludes pictures and/or positive imagery of us pretty consistently, I always appreciate it when elegant and successful sites like SMP buck the trend. It does wonders for the self-esteem. Thanks!
Wow! Love this wedding and all of the gorgeous beachy and DIY ideas. Just beautiful!
@Liz- there are very similar ones at IKEA. I believe they have white/ivory, black, and silver.
Hi guys; Glad you're enjoying this wedding! It was absolutely one of our favorites ever. The lanterns are from my studio collection, but I believe I found them at Old Time Pottery in 2007. You might be best off looking for look-a-likes at a shop like Homegoods.
I think Angela will chime in about the shoes.
I am so glad you are all enjoying the pictures of our wedding. It was honestly the best day of our lives! Kelly McWilliams and her team were amazing and really did all the hard work. Impressions Photography made the day look even more beautful than it was in person and the flowers by Floral Artistry were perfect for our "old Florida" themed wedding. Oh, and can I just say...if you need a wedding band- book The Buzzcatz! As for my shoes, I wanted something comfortable and pretty and these fit the bill. They are Aria by Grace..www.gracefootwear.com. Thanks again for looking at our lovely photos!
I almost squealed with delight to see a beautiful plus sized bride featured on SMP. Is there any way to find out where the dress came from?
Beautiful wedding and amazing pics! Kelly and Angela. my fiance loves the idea of Limoncello favors and so do I. Are they available for purchasing online?
Thanks for all the kind comments everyone! Sam: The dress and veil were purchased at Bella Rosa Bridal in Richmond, VA- they are wonderful! www.bellarosabridal.com. It is a Mikaella dresss style # 1367. Celia: We actually made the limoncello favors ourselves. We found cool glass bottles on ebay and made the limoncello-then made cute labels on line. I hope this helps. Good luck with your wedding planning!
Another great series :O)
Wow!
