Nikki and Robert were married September 9, 2009 at Saint Leo Abbey Catholic Church in Dade City, Florida. Both Nikki and Robert attended St. Leo College, so this was a very special place for them to exchange their wedding vows. Nikki and Robert’s wedding was moved up two months due to Nikki’s grandfather’s health. She wanted him to walk her down the aisle ~ and he did! Sadly her grandfather passed away a week after her wedding.
The reception took place at the private residence of Nikki’s mother’s home in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The reception was held in her backyard under a tent over looking Lake Tarpon. Nikki’s favorite color is orange and Robert’s is green, hence their persimmon and apple green color scheme.
The couple wanted a fun, laid back atmosphere at their wedding reception, so we went with a station style dinner- where guests could be up and mix and mingle with other guests. Catering By Design created 4 fun action stations- including a salad station, pasta station, carving station, and a dessert and coffee station.
The guests danced the night away under the tent and others relaxed with a cocktail down by the dock of the lake.

The gown and bridesmaid dresses are both from Brides by Demetrios, I will check to see who the actual designers are.
