Today’s wedding is magic. There really is no other way to say it. It’s positively beautiful, filled with charming DIY touches that would make any bride swoon, a style that is as elegant as it is real, a bride and groom that are literally glowing. Photographed by the forever talented Meg Baisden, this wedding is one that you will fall completely and madly in love with…

From the absolutely lovely bride, Laurin…
Kenny and I began dating in high school when we were 16. We dated throughout college and got engaged during Kenny’s third year of medical school. Given our history, it seemed like an obvious to get married in our hometown. After talking about it, we opted to do something we had never talked about – a destination wedding! We felt like it would be a smaller, more relaxed affair – something that was important to us.
We decided upon Rosemary Beach, a beautiful and tiny beach town in Florida with European inspired architecture. It has the most charming main street- all kinds of quaint, little shops and restaurants. We also chose it because it’s close to a beach we have visited on family vacations. (Little did we know when planning our wedding, we would be moving to Florida a month after we would be married there!) Rosemary Beach lent the perfect atmosphere for the kind of wedding we wanted – chic, yet relaxed, sophisticated, yet inviting. It was important that the wedding felt like “us.”

I agree - love that flower girl dress!! love the flowers and the brides bracelet, beautiful!!
Wow! Gorgeous! The top left and bottom photos are my favorites! That lower right bouquet is amazing!
I'm not the bride, but the flower girl dress is from JCrew's kid's line Crewcuts, if I'm not mistaken.
If the bride or Meg reads this, would you please share who the florist was? We're renewing our vows in Seaside and I'm trying to pick a florist right now. Thanks!
Love the flower girl dress! And the bride's dress is amazing!
All so beautiful, but that flower girl dress takes the cake.
Whoever decided that bridesmaids could start wearing fancy flipflops hit the nail on the head! The 'maids more than earn a day without heels for all they do and bless any bride who sees that casual footwear can fit with their wedding theme. Gorgeous wedding!
Ditto on the flower girl dress, and the gorgeous flowers!!
This is just stunning. I love the flowers. But recently, I've been thinking of ways to try to cut corners on my wedding but still have it look as nice as this. I found a nice set of tips that have really helped with my planning and I thought I'd share them: http://thestimulist.com/cheapskate-how-to-save-on-your-wedding/
I love the little flower girl dress. So cute.
Here you go, Kate: my favorite flowers ever by the always amazing Nouvea Flowers - online at http://www.nouveauflowers.com
Hope that helps!
Where did the bride find her bracelet? I am looking for something similar and it just works so perfectly with her dress--it does not detract at all! Such a shear, simple elegance to the whole look.
I am in LOVE with the bride's dress! It is absolutely fabulous. Please let us know who the designer is!!!
thanks! The flower girl dress and my bracelet are from J.Crew (they make the best jewelry and the website always has tons on sale!) The wedding dress is by Nicole Miller.
I LOVE the bridesmiad dresses too....Are they from J.Crew as well.....???
Sheila- the bridesmaids dresses were from Anthropologie!
Absolutely adore the decor! Fantastically done. Simple, elegant, and sweet. My fiance and I also have been dating though high school & college. Looks like we have similar tendencies, Meg! ;)
I adore the Laurin's dress. My favourite pic is the one of her walking down the aisle with her veil in the wind.
Yes without a doubt lovely and romantic. But you could say that about so many weddings. What stood out about this one were all the elements and precious details... flowers, dresses, photos, etc. wrapped up together to produce a beautiful tapestry. There was balance and variety, a deftness of hand in all the designs! Everyone looks truly joyful in the photographs.
Laurin ~ What is the style number for your wedding gown? I have tried to locate it, but am not having luck finding it. Thanks! You looked stunning!!
