From Ambrosia WeddingThe sun is sparkling in the ocean close to the beach of Almeria where Magda and Roman are getting married. She’s from Poland and he’s from Germany. Both united in the Spanish region Almeria, where the heart of the sun is beating. It is said to be the sunniest place in Europe and therefore the perfect location to say yes.

The wedding took place in a newly restored little church – white, innocent, enchanted. Close to the Natural Park Cabo de Gata. On one side a flamingo natural reserve lagoon, on the other side the never ending mediterranean sea. In the middle of so much nature stood Magda. Wearing a white light dress from Charo Ruiz Ibiza, complemented with a mantilla (a cloth of lace), as the bridal scarf for the church ceremony. Just before it started Roman gave his bride a bunch of flowers. A sunflower, Magda’s favorite flower accompanied by eucalyptus leaves and branches of olive trees, like it was just picked from the wild field next to the church. That was Magda’s big dream and Roman fulfilled it even before the main event started. The first tear of joy found its way on Magda’s cheek.

The sun on its highest point welcomed the guests from all over the world: Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Poland and Venezuela. A multicultural mix of people came together to celebrate Magda’s and Roman’s decision of sharing a life together. A priest held the ceremony in Spanish, German and Polish. Family and friends read prayers of intercession, and one of Magda’s sisters sang and to a spanish guitar. As the ceremony ended, the celebration began. Several cars took the guests along the beach to a boho café on the top of the fishing village Isleta del Moro.

The decoration fitted perfectly to the landscape of Almeria. Garland made of eucalyptus, olive tree branches and fresh oranges and lemons for the wood tables. The wedding favor, small succulents, could of course not be missing. Lace dream-catchers, eucalyptus leaves, honey comb pom poms and fairy lights were hanging off the trees. Fitting to the colors of the mediterranean style also the stationary was designed in olive green and golden calligraphy. The optic was repeated in the labels of the water bottles, wedding favors and church booklets. On several levels the guests did not only enjoy the breathtaking panorama view of the mediterranean sea and the fishing village, but also a large selection of spanish delicacies such as tapas, grilled fish and exquisite spanish wine. The sweet-table was full of self made sweets created by the bride’s mom. The naked chocolate cream cake was decorated with succulents. The guest book was a collection of postcard of Cabo de Gata on which the guests should answer the question: What does Roman still not know about Magda, what does Magda still not know about Roman? The sun changed its soft golden light to a warm orange one. Just as it kissed the horizon, Magda and Roman went to a ledge (Playa Los Escullos) for a photo shoot. This is where these beautiful pictures have been taken. Both standing of the strong ledge, looking at each other, and holding their hands. They feel happy and infinite.

Back at the party they got each a pin of vodka to drink – Polish tradition. Then the music started and suddenly everyone ran to the dance floor and surprised the married couple with a flashmob dance choreography. It was a delight to watch them dance. Madga and Roman thought they couldn’t be happier at this moment. The natural scenery, the sunny weather and the mind-blowing view over the sea made the whole wedding just perfect. When you dive into their story and see the honest pictures of this unforgettable day, you will get caught by the feeling to get married right now!
