What could possibly be better than a destination wedding in Greece? Uhm, try absolutely nothing. Which is why these New Yorkers decided to forgo a city celebration and instead planned their big day like it was the ultimate vacation. With White Ribbon Boutique Events at the helm and Anna Roussos behind the lens, this is one soiree that you won’t want to miss. See it all in The Vault and the moving film from Olive Tree Films, below!

From White Ribbon Boutique Events…Paula and Peter, a couple who live in New York, got married in the beautiful Cycladic Island of Paros on a beautiful summer’s day. We spent time to really get to know the couple and their backgrounds as the groom is Greek and the bride is Colombia and aimed at designing a unique wedding concept for them that infused both their cultures but also their common journey. We settled on a rustic yet romantic theme to which we also incorporated various vintage items. Our flowers were a mix of blush garden roses and many different type of foliage for a more natural look.
Guests experienced some unforgettable moments from the arrival of the bride by a traditional wooden boat, to the “organic” donkey photo booth, the release of flying lanterns at the end of the evening but also the amazing Colombian tradition of Hora Loca or Crazy Dancing Hour where guests put on props and danced until the early hours of the next day.

I’m convinced the word breathtaking was invented to describe Greece—the bright blue water, the crisp white buildings and the stunning panoramas will quite literally take your breath away. And this wedding is no different. With flowers foraged from neighboring fields and DIY décor from the Bride’s best friend, every detail of this day will make your heart skip a beat. From Genevieve Fundaro Photography…There is so much I could say about this wedding, I could write a long story about how beautiful it was, how amazing Greece is and how the experience of shooting an international wedding was something that changed me right down to my soul. I found my breath again in Greece, I found my creative heart beat and I found many new wonderful friends. I loved it, and I am so blessed to have been apart of Stacey and Mike’s adventure and call them friends
This casual, barefoot kinda come-home feeling wedding is filled with sentimental charm and exudes DIY at its best. All the decor was done DIY by the bride’s best friend in South Africa, the flowers were foraged from the fields around the reception venue, and make up and hair was done by family and friends.
Stacey and Mike have big hearts, that draw you in, and they are centered around relationships with family and friends. This inspired their wedding to be in Stacey’s home land of Greece, and of course that meant on a gorgeous greek island. Days up to the wedding were spent exploring the little towns of Paros Island, relaxing at the pool and learning greek dancing lessons on the roof of a hotel.

This wedding from M and J Photography has ‘cool’ written all over it. The effortlessly beautiful Bride with her fuchsia lip that contrasts perfectly against the deep blue Aegean and bridesmaids dresses from Twobirds Bridesmaid. The groom with his dark locks and navy blue gingham shirt. And how about the absolutely serene setting?! It’s a wedding I want to live in over and over again and I’m going to do just that right here in the gallery.
From M and J Photography… London couple Chris and Vik decided to marry in Paros after falling in love with the Island over the course of various holidays there the last few years. Chris also has greek heritage so it seemed like the perfect choice. The week long celebration was a great opportunity for the couple to spend some quality time with friends and family from all over the world. Most of the guys hired quad bikes for the week, which allowed Chris to show them around some of the best spots on the Island and have great fun doing it!
The wedding day was a very relaxed but intimate affair. A short ceremony on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea at the city hall was followed by a long and eventful dinner and drinks outdoors on the pretty fisherman’s dock in Naousa. An endless supply of deliciously fresh food was served by the restaurant, Barbarosa. Fun and games with sky lanterns finished off the evening beautifully, despite the wind causing them to start small fires on a nearby boat or two.
