Confession time. When I saw “Parisian Elopement” on our little editorial calendar, I grabbed it up so I could spend some QT with that pretty little city by way of the breathtaking images from WeddingLight. It’s like a virtual vacation to my favorite city in the world, complete with a love story and a wedding. And one gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown. Which could be my favorite combination ever. And after cozying up with all the chic in this gallery, I’m pretty sure it is. See so much more here.

From Olivier of WeddingLight… Jennifer and Donny, a couple from Louisiana, came to Paris for their elopement. They chose to have an romantic and intimate ceremony, just the two of them, in the elegant and classic Parisian Chapelle Expiatoire. Everything looked just stunning, from her Monique Lhuillier dress to her perfect bouquet of pink and white flowers. Afterward, I took the couple through Paris for some wedding portraits, choosing to shoot at some great locations, such as Pont Alexandre III, the Jardin de Tuileries, the Lover’s Bridge, and all through the lovely cobbled stone streets of St. Germain des Pres. Jennifer and Donny were so very nice to work with and such lovely people.

From the Bride… We both had such a wonderful day and experience. It was great to have Olivier there to capture this very special time in our lives.
