I’ve been toying with the idea of taking a little trip to see pretty-as-can-be-Portugal with my very own eyes for quite some time now, and this stun.ning wedding by Michele Beckwith Photography has officially made me decide that a trip to this gorgeous place is a MUST. No question. And I owe my decision to this couple and their ah-mazing style – I just can’t get enough! So although I won’t be taking that trip anytime soon, I will be taking a little imaginary holiday in the full gallery of images today for sure!
From Michele of Michele Beckwith Photography… They met while attending university in Portugal. Adriano pursued Andrea until finally one day she answered Adriano’s request for a kiss. After graduation, the couple moved to London, where their relationship and careers continued to grow stronger. Adriano finally popped the question one afternoon on a vintage steam engine train while traveling through the English countryside. After seven years in London, they decided to try a new place before they fell too hopelessly in love with London and never left. So they packed up their bags and relocated to San Francisco. From there, Andrea, the art director for Ode Magazine, planned her Portugal destination wedding for June from across the pond. She had a vision in her head and spent countless hours making sure all the details were perfect. She handmade dozens of paper flowers that would encircle the ceremony area and selected (and shipped!) all the accessories for the cocktail hour and dinner tables. The couple also has impeccable fashion taste, she in her Amsale dress and he in his Gucci suit. Pair all that with a gorgeous estate, and you have one stylish wedding!
