It’s official. Maui Week is my new favorite week on SMP. Spending day after day drooling over destination perfection in Hawaii – does it get any better? The last few days I’ve spent more than a few hours days dreaming of al fresco dinners wrapped up in the warm ocean breeze, and this chandelier-laden soiree, and its gorgeous full gallery by Joanna Tano Photography, is keeping my dreams alive today! From Joanna of Joanna Tano Photography… The rustic charm of Haiku Mill provided the perfect setting for Mandy and Pete’s wedding. The groom, Peter Moylan, is a relief pitcher for the Atlanta Braves and is originally from Australia, so he had family members who flew in from “down under” to attend the wedding party. Mandy’s family and friends flew in from the mainland. Though Pete and Mandy reside in Georgia, they frequently travel back and forth to Australia.

Every detail of the ceremony and reception was thoughtfully put together, creating an elegant wedding — beautiful beyond belief. Pete’s two young daughters were adorable flower girls. Mandy was an especially stunning and radiant bride. A historic Hawaiian landmark, Haiku Mill is unique and lovely. As a photographer, it is a treat to document weddings at the Haiku Mill, due to the varied and beautiful visual elements available there!
