From Carmen and Ingo Photography…Steffi and Alex choose this wonderful location for their wedding because they go there for holiday’s every year and they feel like at home at this stunning place in Croatia.
It was hot, really hot that day! At 2pm a wonderful and extremely emotional wedding day started with the getting ready. And this time it wasn’t a hotel room but the family owned boat. Fantastic! The groom was getting ready in the hotel room. They had a blast.
One highlight (of many) was the appearance of Steffi. Her father-in-law drove the boat into the “Harbor of Love”, while Steffi stood in the front part of the boat waving and throwing kisses. The guests and Alex loved that moment and you bet that everyone had goose bumps all over their bodies! What a moment!
They had a wonderful and touching ceremony, with a special sand ceremony, where they filled up a bottle with different colored sand.
Steffi and Alex are photographers themselves and thus pictures are extremely important for them. Steffi did a lot of things by herself. The buntings, the candy bar, the ring holder, the direction sign…all handmade by the bride groom.The details fit perfectly into this wedding location, an old tower directly on the sea. The reception at the tower was just phenomenal and the food extremely delicious. A very cool party started after the freaky wedding dance Steffi and Alex performed.
