From Matt and Melissa of Life Stage Films…Gabe and Mary Elizabeth are two of the cutest people we have ever filmed. They are both quiet and shy but very wonderful to work with and just very genuine kind people. Gabe & M.E. live in NYC but decided to return to where they got engaged to have their lovely wedding with all their family and friends.
Here is what they had to say about getting engaged at Figure 8 Island: “We went for a walk on the beach with some drinks in dixie cups before “dinner with friends”…We were chatting & drinking our wine, and Gabe got down on one knee & proposed. Mary Elizabeth was insanely shocked & started crying! We went back to the house & ME’s parents & siblings were waiting with champagne and appetizers. Then a driver came & picked us up & we went to dinner out on the town. Then later that night we met up with some close friends at Fig8 Yacht Club to share the news!” We loved seeing these college sweethearts (Go Tarheels!) tie the knot and we are so honored that we got to make their wedding films.
