I don’t think I’ll ever get over how jaw-droppingly gorgeous Greece is and I can’t even begin to imagine how wonderful it must feel to wake up in the dreamy paradise on your wedding day (my guess is absolutely amazing), but I just might want to ask this stunning (and lucky) bride and groom, who threw an affair to remember in my new favorite country. The scenery is breathtaking (but, of course), the dress and shoes are fabulous, the DIY bouquets are beyond lovely and each and every image captured by Anna Roussos Photography? Simply brilliant. From Anna Roussos Photography… This was a real Greek wedding, even though the couple and all the guests came all the way from Canada and were on time. Greeks are usually late! The bride and groom are Greek, but were born and raised abroad. Although living far from their motherland, local traditions were kept, perfectly performed at the wedding reception: wedding dances were just great, and for me, as for photographer who covers a lot of Greek events, this one was a big surprise!
Dora (the bride) took care of everything, from wedding favors till decor elements, she brought with her so many things, I couldn’t imagine how she managed to do it all by herself, especially living thousands of kilometers away from Greece. The most touching part was the church entrance of the bride. She came on a little boat with her mother, brother, best friend and Greek musicians of course… Groom was crying…from happiness!
What a beautiful, full of love and gentle couple. A great example of a successful wedding planed and organized from so far away!

I was so touched... I got married at the same exquisite church last summer! The whole island of Sifnos is breathtaking.... NA ZISETE -as we say in greek! Great photos and great light!
I designed and made this stunning silk taffetta gown for Dora. The bride needs to take all the credit for the amazing sleeves - they were her handiwork.

Your dress is stunning. I got married at the end of this summer and my dress, which I loved, was also made by Catherine Langlois in Toronto. The experience of designing it with Catherine and my visits to her studio through the process was my favourite part of wedding planning. This route was far superior for me compared to buying in a bridal store because I was able to collaborate on the design and get exactly what I wanted - and Catherine is warm, thoughtful, reliable and very detail oriented. She cares about her dresses and her clients and it shows.

If your experience working with Catherine was anything like mine or Rasha's, I'm sure you must have been delighted with the dress and the whole design process. I also have to say that working with Catherine on designing my dress was my favourite part of my wedding planning. Catherine made me a stunning fitted silk gown that had a very 1950's Marilyn Monroe feel to it - it was even more gorgeous than I pictured it in my head.
