Now this is a Mexico destination wedding that I can get down with. I’m totally loving all the rustic elements that give this wedding such a unique, beachy feel. And I totally love that the gorgeous bride referred to herself as the “burlap bride.” Everything just fits together perfectly and if I were to have a wedding do-over, I’d totally hire the peeps at The Dazzling Details because not only did they do the planning and design, they also did all the amazing florals as well. Pay close attention to these fabulous details captured by Photoshoots Vallarta and remember, there is way more where this came from over in the full gallery of images.

From the bride… On New Year’s Eve of 2009 we rang in the New Year with our engagement and a phone calls to family and friends telling them to pack their sunscreen. We were planning for a beach wedding! Since my parents were married in Hawaii I have always wanted to carry on the tradition of a small and intimate beach wedding getaway. We searched several different locations in Mexico, but after a little bit of research we found Puerto Vallarta to be the perfect destination because of its Old World feel. Kyle and I have a laid back nature about ourselves and I often find beauty in simplicity so having a theme that reflected this style was important. We were beyond thrilled to see our dream wedding, created for us by the very talented team at The Dazzling Details, come to life. I considered myself the “Burlap Bride” because I requested it to be in almost every element of the wedding! The burlap paired with white floral arrangements, earthy color tones, and soft white lighting created an air of rustic elegance and set the perfect stage for a fun and relaxed evening. Guests had fun sipping on mojitos and enjoyed a fresh rolled cigar while dancing the night away to our favorite songs. I will always remember everyone on the dance floor locking arms and swaying to the last song of the evening, “Piano Man,” as guests from the Dreams Hotel watched us from their balconies and joined in on the song as they raised their drinks in the air to congratulate our new marriage. The night was so magical. I felt as if I were in a movie! We are so happy to have chosen Puerto Vallarta for our March 12th destination wedding. From the breathtaking ocean view at our beach side ceremony to the time we toasted each other goodnight, every detail of the wedding was truly dazzling. Our family and friends still talk about how beautiful and enchanting the whole evening was. Our wedding was perfect in every way and we felt very blessed to have shared it with our closest loved ones.

Thanks for featuring the wedding Style Me Pretty! We had such a great time planning with Brittany and Kyle - they were a dream couple!
And just as an FYI to those who may be wondering - the quotes from Princess Bride that are placed throughout the setup aren't random - Princess Bride was the first movie the couple watched together so we just couldn't resist a little Princess Bride infusion into the wedding!
I love the neutral palette of this beach wedding...so classic!
The photographs are beautiful! And I love the simplicity of the wedding theme!
What a pretty palette + florals... the touches of burlap are perfect. And I LOVE those "Princess Bride" inspired signs, so awesome!
A beautiful couple and Great wedding!
It was a pleasure to be there with you!
