Some of us might dream of having an intimate wedding among the rolling hills of Ireland and some of us might dream of celebrating on the cobblestone streets of France. Few of us would ever even imagine that both could be possible but that was the case for this lucky couple. We featured this sweet duo’s nuptials in their hometown of Cork, Ireland back in April and now we get to show off their beautiful wedding celebration in the South of France. From Brosnan Photographic…Ciara and Rian chose to have a second wedding celebration in the South of France shortly after their first celebration in Ireland. This time they invited more friends and family rather than just their parents for a big celebration. Ciara and Rian chose to meet before the ceremony this time for some photos around the old walled city of Carcassonne before heading to Domaine Gayda. After the outdoor ceremony in the pool house we headed into the vineyard for more photos. The vines were just starting to come up. After dinner we had a private tour and more opportunity for photos in the wine cellar, a special treat!

[...] Hope you don’t mind that I delayed Friday’s post until now, but I thought in honour of the 27th of April, I would make an exception for today’s special anniversary. On a warm spring day in France two years ago, Rian and I exchanged vows in the vineyard of Domaine Gayda outside Carcassonne in the South of France, starting the adventure of a lifetime. While my love affair with beautiful weddings is stronger than ever, it can never compare to the fun, laughter and love that I’ve shared with Rian since creating this new world together as husband and wife. If you think your wedding day is going to be magical (and it is!) just wait until you see what happens when the wedding day is over…trust me that’s when the fun really starts! Rian, thanks for being the best partner in crime a girl could ever wish for, here’s to many many more blissful years ahead!
