If only there was a way to snap my fingers and magically end up in this dream of a destination photo shoot styled by Grey Likes Weddings – I would appear amidst the sand in less than 2.5 seconds. Believe me, I am snapping over here with all my might trying to do just that. It doesn’t hurt that the amazingly breathtaking Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita Riviera Maya provided the stunning backdrop and the images from Troy and Aimee of Troy Grover Photography (who also played models for the day – adorable) are just a vacation within themselves. I don’t know about you, but I think I might just take a little Thursday vacation in the oh so pretty full gallery of this stunning shoot, care to join me?

Take a little trip on over to 100 Layer Cake for more of this dreamy destination photo shoot and information on Summer Watkins’ upcoming workshop!
Destination weddings are always a lovely opportunity to combine the excitement of a wedding with the relaxation of a vacation. Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings recently teamed up with honeymoon planner, Katie of Ever After Honeymoons, to plan an inspiration shoot for destination brides. Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita in Riviera Maya, Mexico hosted our team and helped put on a simple beachside affair doused in local flavor. Photographers (and models) Troy and Aimee Grover captured all of the lovely images. Megan of MaeMae Paperie designed a custom invitation suite with loads of color and whimsical patterns.
We made an effort to utilize ideas that can easily be packed in a suitcase for airplane travel. Flowers were picked fresh onsite for the bouquets and boutonniere. Red fringe was attached to poles found at the resort for carefree ceremony decor. Tequila shots greeted guests at their place cards, while Zoetry’s sommelier provided a variety of tequilas for an impromptu tequila tasting. Mini bottles of boutique tequila varieties, along with shot glasses and a lime were used as favors.
In addition to the wedding, we shot a rehearsal dinner on a catamaran, which is actually available daily to all Zoetry guests. Coronas and street tacos were served as guests enjoyed a seafaring tour of the Mexican coastline.

AH! Love! I love the mix and match yet coordination of all the paper and colors. And I am very taken by your groom in shorts. It's a slim topic of conversation, but I, myself am marrying a man who will be wearing shorts, also.
SO much to love with this one! FABULOUS :)
That necklace! Where is it from?
Holy smokes!! Where do I start?!?!? The gown is UNBELIEVABLE!!! The seersucker jacket is so fantastic, and the bridesmaids dress is the perfect compliment to both. What a beautiful bride and amazing styling! Nicely done!!
FABULOUS!!! Where is the brides jewelry from - pink/red bead necklace? As well as her blue bauble necklace? I also love the flower bag. I would love to know where these items are from. I am going to Riviera Maya for my honeymoon - can't wait :)
Gorgeous colors....one of my favorite things about mexico (besides the food and people).
wow!! those bright pops of colour against the white look amazing!!!
This is beautiful!! I love the bright colors and that wedding dress is amazing! Great job
I'd love to know about that turquoise necklace, too! Thanks.

Love these colors. I'm snapping my fingers too Abby. I'll meet you in colorful Mexico!
Just love this -- styled but not overly so & that bridesmaid's dress is perfect!
Also...love to know where the two bags are from as well!
Awww love it! This just got my excitement flowing for my Cabo San Lucas wedding this August! Can't wait!
This wedding is beautiful and it makes me wish I was there!
Where is the cute bag from?!
Absolutely beautiful!
Hey all! So glad you love the shoot! As far as the purses go, the small clutch was bought in the downtown shopping area we visited while in Mexico. It's handmade by local artisans.
The other purse is an old find from Forever 21.
The pink necklace is from anthropologie. I found it on sale a few seasons ago and snagged it.
The blue necklace was from Aimee's personal collection, so we'll have to find out where she sourced it.
Hola! The blue necklace was a lucky find from Macy's :)
Dying to know where the red, white and blue bridesmaid dress is from! I covet! Love all of this!
I love that coral sweater and short white dress. Can you tell us where to find?!?!
Sooooo refreshing, light, and gorgeous! Yes - where is that red, white and blue dress from?!
Hey all! The coral/red cardigan was from Nordstrom Rack. The white dress is a pretty simple one that you can find almost anywhere. We added the belt over to give it a little pop.
The bridesmaid dress is from Katie's collection. I'll see if I can find out where she snagged it.
Hey gals! The bridesmaid dress can be found here:

Hi HJP and NTR!!!
The dress is by Jessica Iverson. She's a local LA designer and is absolutely amazing! Definitely give her a call! :)
Thank you for the info! :) Jessica's site seems to be under maintenance or something of the sort, but I anxiously await being able to see her collection. What a beautiful gown. This post is such eye candy--I'll be filling my Friday workday with these lovely photos!

Summer - where can I find a ticket to the next destination shoot of yours? ;) This is stinking stunning. As always, I'm saving this in my inspiration file!!!!
Attention ladies who are dying to know where to find the turquoise necklace featured in this shoot! I researched for-ev-ver to find a necklace similar to the ones in the pictures above and FINALLY Kate Spade made one. I just purchased it off of Zappos Couture and with standard shipping it arrived in 2 days, thats impressive! I also found it on Lord and Taylor, http://www.lordandtaylor.com/mariner-cluster-long-necklace-1.shtml
