Kate and Will, a couple from Dallas, TX, decided to have a Rosemary Beach Wedding after Kate grew up vacationing in the area. Their September 25, 2010 wedding took place in the sugary white sand all to the sounds of a gospel choir which the bride had as a surprise for the groom. The newly married couple exited as the choir sang “Higher and Higher.”
The couple’s carefree and full of life personalities shinned through not only through out their day but also in their images! It’s A Shore Thing and Events by Nouveau Flowers brought their classic and natural, breathtaking vision to light with their use of browns and different shades of green. Another surprise Kate had for Will, was a groom’s cake with a block of swiss cheese…all in honor or his nickname, “cheese monster”. The cake turned out beyond precious…Rhonda from Confections on the Coast never ceases to amaze us!
As you can tell, the couple was full of surprises!! One of the cutest surprises ended up being turned around on each other! Kate and Will love the Avett Brothers, so Kate and some of the groomsmen wanted to surprise Will by singing “January Wedding.” Well, Will wanted to surprise Kate, and got on stage with the groomsmen and sang the same song! They obviously were meant to be!! Towards the end of the night, the couple snuck off to exchange gifts by candlelight with a glass of wine as the guests danced as the band Meet the Press played classic favorites. The couple ended the night with guests tossing Rosemary seeds as they made their get-away.

Beautiful!! All the crisp white colours look incredible in this setting!
Gorgeous couple - gorgeous venue - gorgeous wedding! Love the colors!
A few questions: any information on the bride's lovely dress & the wedding programs?
Thanks & CONGRATS!! One of my faves in a long time.
LOVE the colors in this wedding! Where are the bridesmaid dresses from - they are the perfect shade of blue:)
The colors they chose were absolutely perfect! The bridesmaid dresses & the groomsmen's ties worked so well with the ocean as backdrop. I absolutely heart the photo of the flower girls playing in the waves. Priceless.
Stunning!! I too would like to know where the bridesmaids dresses are from.
Love this! Everyone is beautiful (the youngest flower girl, soo cute) and looks like they are having so much fun! I love the way they had the "lounge" area in front of the dance floor! Fun, simple and beautiful, congrats!
The BM dresses look very familiar. I think they are J.Crew: http://www.jcrew.com/wedding/Wedding_Bridesmaid/dresses/silkchiffon/PRDOVR~41367/41367.jsp
But they no longer have that color in stock - it was in last year!
What a beautiful couple, with a beautiful wedding to match!
What is in the little blue packets with a Just Married Stamp? Bird seed? Where did you find the stamp?
So elegant & simple. I love, love the decor and the way they made everything appear so clean and bright!
I was just wondering where you guys found the lanterns! The pictures of this wedding are absolutely striking! Beautiful bride and gorgeous wedding!
I love the bridemaids dresses. The color and the flowy materials are perfect for a beach wedding!
I love these! The airiness and spaciousness of these photos are so sweet. What a beautiful location for a winter wedding! Everyone looks fantastic!
Any idea where the bride's earrings are from? They're beautiful. I've been looking for something just like that.
What an amazing looking wedding. The beach is the way to go.

Beach wedding done right!! So clean, soft and elegant. LOVE.
I love all the details that went into this beach wedding. I shoot beach weddings myself in Hilton Head and at times they lack the fun, simple details.
Oh my... what a venue! I could take some of that white sand right now.
absolutely beautiful!
Absolute perfection - this is beach wedding done oh-so-right. Very pretty!
I am so in love with this wedding...that's all I can even say about it! Stunning.
This is so beautiful! My colors are green and blue as well, and these photos have inspired me to change my direction! Absolutely stunning
Gorgeous bridesmaids dresses... you can't go wrong with a crisp beach wedding like this. Stunning!
Thanks to everyone for such sweet words! To answer a few questions:
-My wedding dress is Vera Wang. Every one of her gowns are absolutely stunning.
-My bridesmaids dresses are from J.Crew. I'm pretty sure they still carry the "Taryn" style but I think they discontinued the color (at least for the season). It took me forever to find the perfect dress in that exact color!
-The mini envelopes were filled with rosemary in honor of being married in "Rosemary Beach"! Our guests threw it at us as we exited.
-My earrings are from a small boutique here in Dallas on Lovers Lane. I actually stumbled upon them the day before I left for the wedding!
The clean, crisp color palette is so alluring. The lounge seating and pendant shade lighting really adds to the sense of sophication.
I LOVE the canopy that you two were wed under. Was it provided by the wedding venue or something that you made yourself? Is there somewhere I can purchase it?
Great shots! You've shown that photography is a fine art that requires a unique and creative eye. Thanks for the post!!

Just gorgeous! The biggest concern was probably the weather, but I am glad everything went just fine. Congrats
Absolutely exquisite! I cannot stop looking at this post.
I am in love with the wedding dress. Has anyone been able to find the designer?
Katie - the bride shared with us that her gorgeous gown is a Vera Wang (surprise, surprise!)
I forgot to mention that I found my Vera Wang wedding dress for an incredible price at a sample sale! It was about 6 sizes too big for me but with a little alteration work, it was as good as new! So I always encourage people to go to those sales. You never know what gem you might find!
Gorgeous! Love the shot of them on the bench staring into the ocean. And so sweet to see the gospel choir! The florals are lovely and the bride's style is wonderful. This one feels so fresh.
@Kate - WOW, that is great that you were able to get that gorgeous gown at a sample sale!! Definitely need to shop around at those. Do you happen to know what the name of your Vera gown is? I think it's "Ethel" but not sure.
Again, CONGRATS & thanks so much for taking the time out to answer our questions!
I love the groom's tie, I was wondering where he got it from?
Anyone know the location? Name of venue? Looks like what I am looking for. Really gorgeous.
Where did you find the flower girl dresses? I am having such a hard time finding cute, beachy dresses!
I love everything about this wedding! Where was your reception and what time of year was it? I am dying over these pictures and must look into this venue!!
