It’s hard to find the words to say just how much I love Docuvitae. Their work is pure perfection. Whether they are shooting in the unbelievably gorgeous black and white, photojournalistic style that they are known for, or in the modern, clean style that we often feature on SMP, each images is flawless. Each images is fine art. Each image is ahhh inducing. Docuvitae is on our VERY short list of absolute must-haves.

“First…Those pictures rule! Kelly and I are both so pleased. Well done, Laura. Thank you so much. It was a great treat to look at them yesterday. Kelly was so happy. You did such a great job capturing the spirit of the day. By the way…you don’t know how many “Holy crap she’s good” comments we’ve gotten regarding your work. I keep getting phone calls and e-mails about how great the photos are. You now have quite a following among the Dallas ladies.
Everyone is just so enthralled by your work. Kelly was asking me about having you photograph our (non-existant) children, etc., etc. I just wanted you to know. –Brian and Kelly Frazier, wed in Dallas, Texas in 2005

“Laura Kleinhenz and her wedding photography company, Docuvitae, are fabulous! If you are looking for a reportage approach, that is, a more photo-journalistic style, than you have found the best of the lot.
My wife and I work in fashion/beauty photography, and this is one area where we can be really annoying and particular. We knew there were going to be plenty of photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, etc on our guest list, as well.
We did not want traditional wedding photography; we wanted interesting, reportage photos. We provided a nice venue and fun people. They captured the event in a really fun, unobtrusive, stylish way. They must have shot with at least 6 different camera formats! Everything from Holga to Rollei to digital. The photos rock, and this company made it a fun, stress-free experience.
Highly recommended, but its a really personal choice, so I would always suggest meeting them, and looking at portfolios. If you want more formal traditional photography, this may not be your cup o’ tea…” –Andrew Stiles and Fiona Horne, Palm Springs wedding 2007
