Dear Amy, I have always believed that setting the “mood” of an event begins with the invitation. Once the wedding theme was conceived, I dreaded the thought of having to go through tons of invitation books and spend countless hours online looking at invitations in order to achieve the right “mood” for Ashley and Arnold’s wedding. It turns out I was very lucky! I was on the computer for about 15 minutes when I came across your website. Immediately I was impressed with the originality of each stationery suite. Looking at each suite I got the feeling that I knew the people – their personalities and style. To be honest, I wasn’t sure that having a personalized stationery suite would be within Ashley and Arnold’s budget. It turned out that the stationery suite that ABCD Designs would create would be comparable to the ordinary, generic invitations I had priced online. Living in Florida, all of our contact was done by phone or email. The process was easy and painless. You didn’t miss a deadline and always stayed in contact with me. Without a doubt your knowledge and guidance were invaluable to me from the first time I made contact with you to the suite being delivered. I would highly recommend you for any event that is celebrated! In today’s day where impersonal service and feeling like a number is status quo, you offer personal service and never-ending support from concept to completion. To the divine ABCD: Trevor and I simply cannot say enough about how much your work meant to us. By working with you, we were able to set the tone for our entire wedding. Each piece of our stationery suite came back full circle as the inspiration point for a dozen more decor elements or design projects at our ceremony and reception, and everything blended beautifully. We heard throughout our entire engagement – and yes, even throughout our wedding day! – that no one had ever seen anything quite like our invitations. (Several folks even neglected to send in their RSVP cards and were unapologetic about the fact that a call had to suffice, because they were keeping the card!) There are some things about wedding planning that weren’t me at all – dress-shopping and budgets and bar tabs, no thanks! – but I would design stationery suites with you again in a heartbeat. Working with you was the best part of planning our wedding for me, and a process that allowed me to feel ownership and creative control in a world of white scripted invitations that couldn’t feel less like me or who we are as a couple. Amy, I just wanted to tell you how IN LOVE I am with our entire invitation suite. You did the most amazing job. To have all of the pieces in hand and to see them all together, I’m so happy with the way they turned out. I’ve never seen anything like it. They are truly a work of art. I’m seriously considering framing some of the pieces. I couldn’t be happier. We are mailing them out in the next day or so, and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s responses.

It is obvious that Amy is passionate about design! We were immediately drawn to her work the moment we stumbled upon her website. She just had the “je ne sais quoi” that we had not seen in anyone else. We are are based in Chicago and hesitantly reached out to Amy to see if she could work with out of towners. Amy — You have been my fairy godmother of paper products and design throughout this entire wedding process. You were so patient through all of my ideas and edits lending your expertise and eye for beauty at every step. My stationery suite has turned into something that truly represents the feel of our wedding and our two unique personalities (I feel so fancy even having something like a “stationery suite!”). When I’m recommending you to others, (which happens a lot because everyone wants to know where these gorgeous invites came from!) I find myself talking about your versatility of design, quick turn-around, and genuine interest in your clients. One minute after walking into to Amy’s beautiful office I knew I was going to work with her. Amy is friendly, creative and truly wants to make you happy. We sat and talked for seemed like minutes but it was actually an hour. She had asked me to bring in samples of what I had in mind as far as colors, images etc. Once we chatted and I gave her my stuff we are off and running. I think it was about a week later I had the sketch of my wedding suite. One word…breathtaking. Amy had captured everything. I was so thrilled I could barely contain myself. Over the next couple weeks Amy and I were in constant contact to make sure everything was perfect. She came up with custom made stamps for the outside of my envelopes with the perfect color ink. She found me a calligrapher. She did it all and I will be forever grateful. My invitations just went out this week and the feedback has been incredible. I have received numerous phone calls from friends and family saying how wonderful they are. One of my girlfriends did not want to send back the RSVP card because she loved it so much! I am in Catering Sales at the W Hotel in Union Square and have worked with many vendors. Never ever have I met someone with Amy’s style!
