Denver Rowboat Engagement Session

If you’re looking for a recipe for dreamy engagement photos, look no further than this sweet love sesh from Tamara Gruner Photography—a floral adorned rowboat floating two cuties through Denver City Park, complete with a champagne toast, floppy hat and cherry blossoms dotting the shoreline. Adorable? We’d say so. See it all here in the full gallery!

From Tamara Gruner PhotographyThe delicate waves of the lake created the rhythm. The blossoming trees on a spring evening provided the light. This was a picture perfect setting for our couple to enjoy their moment before the big day. The soon-to-be-bride along with her beau enjoyed a gentle row down the waters in their charming boat adorned with flowers. Sipping a glass of champagne, exchange words, they dreamed about their lives ahead. It was simply a beautiful day!

Colorfully Organic Glamper Wedding Inspiration

Glamping is kind of the best thing. It’s a mashup of cozy and fancy all in one and it doesn’t really get any better than that. This slice of goodness from Carrie King and Yonder Floral And Decor House is taking glamper status to a whole new level m’dears. With utterly beautiful bites from Chef Crystal Melanson of Zen Eats in every corner, wild blooms galore and a flowing Gemy Maalouf number from Anna Be, you’ll be feeling all kinds of happy after perusing this gallery.

Head over to SMP Living for this pretty Lemon Tart recipe crafted by Chef Crystal Melanson!

From Yonder Floral and Decor HouseThe inspiration behind the shoot began with the discovery of 6 yellow taper candles in varying shades that jumped out at a local antique store. I wanted to create a look that was neutral and fresh with elements of jewel tones and citrus accents. The mix of the light woods and soft greys paired beautifully with subtle pops of yellow with lavender accents. The glamping trailer was a neutral backdrop for our couple’s reception offering beautiful lines and wood details, so we wanted to soften the look with lush blooms and pastel colors. The bride Crystal is a beautiful and talented Paleo chef and nutrition coach who prepared a feast of healthy and beautiful dishes or the dinner. This shoot proved to be a lovely combination of natural woods and tones paired with lush greens and pastel blooms with varying options of textured and silk tops with the beautiful Gemmy Malouf skirt from AnnaBe Bridal Shop.

Menu by Chef Crystal Melanson

Beet and Mint Salad: Roasted red and golden beets with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and fresh mint

Roasted Carrots and Crispy Ham: Roasted rainbow carrots drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and served with crispy organic ham

By eating meals made from real, fresh ingredients, such as organic vegetables, grass-fed meats, nuts, seeds, oils, and fruits, you not only support your health but the environment around you as well. Eating Paleo replaces a diet of toxins, GMOs, and low nutrient foods, with wholesome, nutrient-dense real ingredients. Keeping your body healthy and energized with such a diet helps reduce your risk of disease and obesity. Not only does eating locally and organic support your community and local farmers, but it provides your family with a diet of sustainable foods while reducing negative environmental impacts and producing less waste.

Inspired by the Mediterranean Color Palette

Inspired by nature and the Mediterranean coast, Ashley Sawtelle captured an environment overflowing with cool tones and vibrant Bare Root Flora blooms. With a refined mix of eclectic dinnerware and tile place cards, this collaboration is fresh yet elegant. From the subtle blue bodice of the A & Bé Bridal Shop dress to the stunning citrus accents a la Calluna Events, the gallery is the place to see it all, here!

From Ashley SawtelleWe wanted to create an environment inspired by nature and the old world charm of the Mediterranean coast – cool tones of green and blue paired with the vibrant colors of the surrounding flora, botanicals and fruit.

Blooms and textures in our deep fuchsia color palette, citrus accents and natural wood grain elements were incorporated against a clean background for an updated look. Azure Silk & Willow ribbons bound the bouquet. And the table scape evoked something old and something new with tall tapered candles, a refined mix of eclectic dinnerware pieces and tile place cards. Gold accents in the flatware, candlesticks and candle holders grounded the palate.

The vendors in the collaboration contributed unique design pieces that tied in with the overall theme. Twinkle & Toast provided the tile place cards, escort cards, sign and invitation suite and designed a custom pattern throughout each piece. Sugar Breck used real ribbon from Silk and Willow on the base of the cake. And hand painted tile cookies added a sweet touch to the theme.

Eclectic Hive provided a Indian wedding wood table and aged, mismatched wood chairs. They also provided the sheepskin rug which balanced out the raw concrete floor and white brick background.

Alchemy Mineral Blends used light, spring colors from their new collection to show a fresh and dewy completion for our bride against her dark, Mediterranean features. A simple gold and diamond wedding band and diamond and gold studs were provided by Angie Star Jewelry.

We chose an elegant, yet simple two piece wedding dress from Rebecca Schoneveld and veil by Sara Gabriel, both found at a & bé Bridal in Denver, CO. We loved the subtle blue in the bodice of the dress which tied in the blue from the rest of the shoot.

Elegant Backyard Summer Wedding

I believe a bit of Southern charm is always welcomed, no matter where you reside. This elegant Denver wedding added just the right amount of Southern style and with Cori Cook leading the way with florals and We Tie The Knots orchestrating it all, we have here one gorgeous wedding, captured by Rachel Havel. As I brainstorm ways to add a touch of Southern flair to my own nuptials, this gallery is where I’ll be.

From Rachel Havel… Rebecca & Clay wanted an elegant wedding with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The wedding took place at their local church with the reception held at Rebecca’s family estate. Their styling was clean and modern with touches of Clay’s southern routes intertwined throughout the decor, including Clay wearing a seersucker suit for the reception and Rebecca slipping into some cowgirl boots. With hang in chandeliers, modern linens, and festive bow ties, this couples wedding was to die for.

Above all else, Rebecca & Clay share a genuine love for each other and the community they have built together over the years, and their wedding was first and foremost about their new lives together.
