Red Fly Studio completely made our afternoon with one stunning image after another from today’s Florida wedding. And now that we have reveled in all the GORGEOUS, we thought it might be fun to put together some details perfect for infusing a dash of whimsical charm to your upcoming fete. And this one is allllll about the silhouette mixed with pretty, organic elements. The combination of which is out-of-this-world stellar.

5. Oh Tom’s, how we love thee. And now they offer a range of fun wedding styles perfect for that laid-back Bride who also wants to give back to those in need. Our favorites? These petal colored loves

6. The gorgeous wood chargers at this Florida wedding almost sent us into swoon overdrive. Granted not every venue offers such lovely plating but these Acacia dessert plates are pretty stand-ins and could even be used sparingly. Think one per table with succulents or flowers set atop

7. For that organic feel, a lovely herb sprig at each setting does wonders and smells quite nice too and mixed with potted succulent centerpieces? Organic, green, herbal heaven.

Bridal Market 2011 + SMP

It’s official. We are in full on wedding dress heaven as we come off the high of an AMAZING weekend at Bridal Market 2011. We packed up our bags and headed to the land of New York City for a whirlwind of amazing fashion, out-of-this-world Designer meetings, catch-ups with fellow industry friends, a few celebrity sightings (Colin Cowie anyone?!?) and a whole lot more gorgeous gown gazing. I don’t think we’ll ever get enough of that part.

From the runways of Romona Keveza, Reem Acra, Watters, Rivini, Christos, Kenneth Pool, Amsale, Monique Lhuillier, Ines Di Santo, Anne Barge and Claire Pettibone to uber fun studio meet-ups with Badgley Mischka, Jenny Packham, Modern Trousseau and Lela Rose, this was a trip not to be forgotten and one that has our inner style-obsessed hearts all a flutter. Let us just say, the sleeved gown is making quite the gorgeous comeback.

We’re breaking it down piece by fabulous piece Backstage so be sure to head over and catch up on the weekend happenings. Vintage Glam Inspiration by Couture Events

Monday morning feels like a good time to break out some super glamorous, perfectly vintage and all around gorgeous inspiration to get the work week started. Krystel Tien of Couture Events sent us this old Hollywood inspired shoot photographed by Joielala and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you today. Think feathers, red lipstick, glitz and fur and you’re on the right track. Check out the gallery for oodles of more glam inspiration.

At Couture Events we love the classic, old Hollywood glitz and glamour style so we partnered with Joielala Photography to bring you Vintage Glam Inspiration. This is one of our favorite inspiration shoots yet. We wanted it to be stunning and timeless. We’re talking feathers, sequins, pastels, and red lips! Mmm… it all came together perfectly!

Our stationery was hand made by Suzy Lee from Dear Darling. She hand calligraphered each piece – invites, menus, and escort cards. The invites were each hand tied with a pink velvet bow. Calligraphy is a very personal and timeless way of involving an old fashioned art into your special day. The incredible florist is Sally Preston from Exquisite Blooms. She created some stunning pieces incorporating drama and glamour into each bouquet and centerpiece. She used a mixture of white hydrangea, lilies, peonies, spray roses, blush roses, dark purple mini calla lilies, pink stock, and large gorgeous gardenias to create the old Hollywood vintage glam look. She accented these beautiful pieces with white ostrich feather plumes and tied the bouquet with a vintage sequin trim to complete the look. Our models are not models at all. We used a real couple for this shoot. They recently got married and were very excited about helping us out. Our bride, Kelly Murray is also head designer for Jedidiah Clothing Company. She is beyond creative and I was so honored to have her and her hubby there as our models for the day. Liz Law, a SoCal jewelry designer, created two necklaces especially for this inspiration shoot. The first is the Queen for a Day necklace with a heavy gold vintage chain and cascading threads of gold-rimmed Swarovski crystals. The second is called Lady Love. This necklace is deliciously feminine and romantic. A faceted Swarovski crystal sparkles in between two gold-brushed leaves. We used the Divine earrings from Liz to complete the look. The hair accessories were provided by Rachel Larraine. Each of her pieces are handmade and one of a kind. The chenille-dotted birdcage veil was perfectly matched for our old Hollywood glam theme and one of our brides favorite pieces. She can custom make the feathered hair accessories for everyday, engagement photos, bridesmaids, or for the big day!

Vigilucci’s in Coronado provided the perfect space for our tablescape. It is the perfect private ballroom space for rehearsal dinners and receptions. We then moved on to Babycakes. It was one of our favorite cupcake shops in San Diego for more wonderful inspiration (Ok, we did end up having a cupcake or two). Babycakes is an eclectic and unique bakery. They specialize in cupcakes but also make spectacular wedding cakes. Horton Grand Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for our getaway inspiration complete with a Rolls Royce and vintage suitcase. The bride changed into her getaway honeymoon dress made by one of our favorite Etsy designers, Sarah Seven.

Colorful Colorado Wedding From Save The Date

Jessica and Mike’s beautiful Colorado wedding at Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur is being shared with us today by Debbie at Save The Date Events. And as a real treat, here are a few sweet, sweet words from the handsome groom!

It has almost become cliché to say “I married my best friend”, but I can’t think of a better way to describe our relationship. Though we met in high school, our love didn’t truly blossom until we were forced to spend some time apart while Jessica headed off to college and I went into the military. After years of learning how to never take our time together for granted, we finally tied the knot. Our wedding could not have been more beautiful. To be surrounded by family and friends on such a joyous day was all we could ask for. We were incredibly blessed to have some of the best vendors in the wedding industry, we believe, with us including Jenni Maroney of Jenni Maroney Photography, Debbie Orwat of Save the Date Events, Plum Sage Flowers and the staff of Crooked Willow Farms to make our day perfect. We are so grateful to them!

Jessica wanted classic arrangements that complimented the naturally beautiful farm setting. She wanted lush blooms in a variety of shades of ivory, pink, yellow and champagne with green accents. Wedding Shoes by Piperlime

I have a HUGE confession. Probably one that my now husband shouldn’t read. But, it’s a happy ending so I figured what the hell. When I got my engagement ring (6 years ago…gasp), I wasn’t so sure about it. It was a yellow gold and I had my heart set on a white gold or even better…a platinum ring. But upon closer inspection, I realized that I was staring down at a 1920′s Antique Tiffany diamond ring. Yep, I KNOW. Well, really seeing the beauty in that changed my whole gold perspective. I am now officially a golden girl. I ordered gold rimmed china to match, decorated my home with gold touches and now, I ONLY wear gold jewelry. So, of course, I am a little biased, but I am currently obsessing over these gold hued shoes from Piperlime…

One part Grecian goddess, one part completely chic, I love that they add a bit of glamor to your wedding look without going over the top. That top one by Kenneth Cole with the T strap is like all of my shoe dreams come true and I just happened to spot it on Project Runway the other day so I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who loves it wholeheartedly. But the best part? All but one of these beauties are under $100. The heel with the rosette is actually $24.00!! Style and affordability. Can’t beat that.

1940′s Styled Wedding – Same Day Edit – Elysium Productions

Erin and TJ’s jazzy supper-club styled wedding reception posted earlier today just blew me away! When I went on the hunt for more images, more story … I found a same day edit from the ever-fabulous Elysium Productions! So … knowing they wouldn’t mind … I swiped the vimeo code and voila!
