So, after seeing today’s rehearsal dinner (which could just as easily be a kick-butt wedding), I thought it might be fun to put together an inspiration board for a similar fete! Of course, using products that are easily accessible and ideas that would look just as good in your own backyard!

I am so beyond happy to have Mimi Woo of the ridiculously great invitation studio, Mika 78 on SMP today. She is a complete genius when it comes to beautiful, fresh design work…kind of making me wish that I could get married all over again, just so that I could order one of her invitations!

I’ve saved the best Wiley Valentine design for last…or at least I think so. Some would argue that the Marie Antoinette invitation from earlier today trumps this invitation, but that’s the good part about writing a wedding blog. I win! Here is the board…

LOVING today’s feature on “from inspiration to reality” that the cute girls at Wiley Valentine designed for us. Having been an invitation designer before I launched Style Me Pretty, paper is pretty much my second love. To me, the invitation sets the tone for the entire wedding…it allows guests to understand the style, the level of formality and the couple, of course.

So putting some real thought into your invitations is an absolute must in my book. Which is exactly why I LOVE the inspiration boards that Wiley Valentine created, that ultimately inspired an entire wedding invitation suite. Here is the second one…
