Many of you may be planning your weekend picnic, or gazing out your window to the beautiful flowers which are indicative of spring. But we know that all the winter brides out there are scouring the internet and magazines for spectacular snowy inspiration. So today's Canadian wedding from the oh-so-wonderful Melissa Andre Events as captured by Little White Dress is dedicated... [MORE]
A wedding is a celebration of a very special love. This Massachusetts wedding is not only that, but is a true labor of love. The organic farming couple cultivated the both flowers and food for the big day (how's that for the ultimate DIY?) The dress was made by the bride's mother. The bride's veil had pearls meticulously sewn on by her mother and close friends. The entire celebratory day was held at the farm where this couple pour out so much of themselves. I could swoon for days. Paul from... [MORE]

This next feature is really special for a couple of reasons. For one, it was inspired by my amazingly talented sister-in-law's DIY templates that we debuted about a year ago. Laura Larson is the designer of the brand Two Yellow Shoes and crafts ready-to-print templates for your wedding day paper goods...along with the cutest details a bride could ever want. Well, Natalie Clamp, the owner of the yummy... [MORE]

Even though Libby and Patrick's wedding was in the late Spring, because it was on a rooftop garden, the temp could get pretty chilly. So we found some simple, white blankets at IKEA for $3.99 and adorned them with cute tags and pink ribbon. Instant adorableness without making much of a ding in our wallets. This is the easiest DIY on the planet and we've provided templates to make it even easier! photo by... [MORE]
Since I write a wedding blog for a living, the easiest way to come up with ideas for our DIY projects (which every wedding should have) was to scour our own archives! We have some of the coolest stuff tucked inside our DIY category, so finding inspiration was beyond easy. And although it looks like an incredibly lavish wedding, we found a MILLION ways to cut costs and to stay within our budget. Take for example our linens. Rather than purchasing expensive table linens, we chose to highlight... [MORE]

My girlfriend wrote the most charming, totally well written Valentine's Day guide the other day and it made me realize something. I AM a total sucker for this over commercialized, often times completely cheesy holiday. I love it actually. The pinks, the reds, the total girliness of the day. It's so up my ally. So today, I thought I would... [MORE]

This is not so much a DIY project as a really simple idea...using brown bags filled with fruit as either a table number OR as seating cards. Depending on the size of the bag that you buy, you can use these little treats in different ways. Either approach is just a really adorable way to bring a bit of charm to your table. This DIY is for seating cards, but really...it's super easy to translate this project in lots of different ways. Please note, we kept our bags without names on... [MORE]
