I need to catch my breath after looking through these images by Samantha Erin Photography.  The art gallery wedding they captured, with details by Rachel A. Clingen Wedding & Event Design, is so chic and so glamorous that it stopped my in my tracks and left me breathless!  The draping, flowers, metallic candelabras all bring a fabulous, modern edge to the feminine, romantic extravaganza and I am IN love!  See it all in the full gallery!

From the Bride… The first thing I noticed when I approached the aisle was the true happiness in Jamie’s eyes as he waited for me. It was both of our favourite moments of the day — to have our eyes meet for the first time. The second thing I noticed was how absolutely beautiful the decor was. It was breathtaking! I was so glad to have all of this captured beautifully so that I can remember it forever. My wedding dress was a remake of an Alvina Valenta dress. The amazing designer was Domenic Serio Couture. My wedding jewelry was also custom made by Tara Fava, these talented designers are both based out of Vaughan (just north of Toronto) in Ontario, Canada. My advice to all blushing brides out there: spoil yourself with everything you have always wanted for your wedding. Stop and look around before walking down the aisle to see all the people who came to support you in this important day … it truly is overwhelming!

Rachel of Rachel A. Clingen Wedding & Event DesignThe clean crisp atmosphere of the MacLaren Art Gallery is the perfect canvas for a chic look. The very beautiful bride Danielle loves simple but pretty things and loves pink — a girl after my own heart! While she loves classic flowers, she wanted the atmosphere for her wedding to have a sophisticated, romantic feel with an edgy twist. Classic large topiary balls of pink hydrangeas, roses and peonies created a spectacular focal point for both the ceremony and the reception. Our plexiglass stands accented the aisle and were the bases for simple arrangements of roses. Soft pink and mauve rose petals lined the aisle. Although Danielle loves candlelight, due to insurance reasons, the art gallery cannot allow any candles. We decided that the best way to create candle-lit ambiance was to use beautiful wax luminaries with flickering lights. Romantic white vintage lanterns and white candelabras lined the guest tables and added the warm glow. Fresh mounds of roses were placed in between for a touch of soft colour.

From Samantha of Samantha Erin Photography I truly loved that the bride’s mother and the groom’s father were the witnesses who signed the couple’s wedding registry … it was a touching decision and a great way to make parents feel included in your day! I also loved and was moved by a sweet song that the bride’s uncle sang to the couple during the ceremony, which was a song that he used to play for the bride when she was young. And lastly, the candy buffet was a huge hit amongst guests with TONS of variety for everyone.
