From the Bride…When Jay and I decided to get married, my first thoughts (after the initial excitement and slight overwhelming feeling) was…how am I going to get everything done and where should I start. I was never the girl that had her ‘dream’ wedding all planned out with a scrapbook of dresses and cakes though I had always longed for a Vera Wang wedding dress. I LOVE to entertain and wanted to ensure that our wedding was a fun and elegant party. We decided on the Inn on the Twenty in Jordan as it suited both our personalities and incorporated our love of food and wine.
Getting in touch with Cynthia Martyn was one of the best decisions I made. My friend and fabulous photographer – Jodi Rene – referred Cynthia to assist with the planning process. Cynthia ensured that my vision for the wedding came together and added some unique ideas of her own to create exactly what we wanted for our day.
The beverage station with pink lemonade at the ceremony added a fun vintage feel. During cocktails, a fresh heirloom tomato bar was set up with wine and cheese tasting to compliment. Pops of color were everywhere with the linens, florals and décor put together by Cynthia. The flowers by Mimosa Flower Studio were lush, colorful and made the venue come alive. Custom signage created by Laura K Design helped to tie everything together. Jay and I had an amazing wedding day. All of our guests really enjoyed themselves. We had several compliments on how well everything turned out and how much fun was had by all! Everyone worked together to create a the perfect day for us filled with amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
