Modern meets classic in this stunning San Francisco wedding and, let me be the first to say, it’s all kinds of amazing. From the breathtaking Asian Art Museum setting to the fab decor from White Label by Gloria Wong Design to every.last.detail planned to perfection by Jubilee Lau Events, it’s an affair that will leave you swooning all weekend. See it all captured by Augie Chang right here.
From Jubilee Lau Events… Diana and Kee chose the beautiful Asian Art Museum in San Francisco to exchange vows in front of their closest friends and family. Diana wanted a very classic all-white wedding. When presented with six different looks from Jubilee Lau Events and Gloria Wong Design’s signature line of stationery, flowers, cake, and escort card display – White Label – Diana and Kee couldn’t decide between sweet and romantic “Ooh La La” and the more polished and modern “Cosmopolitan.” So, we created a custom hybrid of the two looks for them! We took the pretty dainty dots from the “Ooh La La” stationery and infused them with the bold flourishes from “Cosmopolitan.” We kept the ink colors soft and monotone in muted shades of grey. For floral centerpieces, we stayed true to the original “Ooh La La” design of large garden roses and hydrangea in classic silver footed bowls. We lined the grand staircase with large manzanita branches adorned with dainty orchids to resemble blooming branches. All flowers were in dreamy white and ivory hues. The ivory cake was also a combination of “Ooh La La” and “Cosmopolitan.” Dainty dots from “Ooh La La” wrapped around the square “Cosmopolitan” tiers.
For Diana and Kee’s dinner tables, we continued on with Diana’s love of white! The modern square tables were draped with a classic silky ivory charmeuse linen and embellished with silver rimmed china. The chairs were statement pieces in their unique Deco shape and soft ivory cushions. And the awe-inspiring focal point of the entire reception was an enchanting ivory chiffon clad canopy that housed the head table for dinner inside the Museum’s main hall. The bridal party sat under sparkling crystal chandeliers that dropped from the interior of this lavish custom-built structure!
