DIY Wooden Pallet Backdrop + WIUP

We made it to the end of the week lovelies, so we decided to leave you with some DIY design inspiration from our friends at Your Cloud Parade. Who would have thought wood pallets could look this cute?  There’s even more inspiration in the gallery thanks to Mark Brooke Photographers, and don’t miss the how-to plus this week’s lucky winners waiting down below!

Wedding Dress: Katie Jean | Flowers : Art With Nature | Green Necklace : A Quiet Curiosity | Hair Accessory : Vanilla Hue | Online Wedding Marketplace : Your Cloud Parade | Photography : Mark Brooke Photographers | Photography : Mathieu Photo

Materials
Wood pallets
Painter’s tape
Bright colored paint
A few paint brushes
Wood screws
Drill
Plumbers plastic hanger strap

instructions

step-1 Lay pallets down to start mapping out design. Take painters tape and tape out desired design. We choose to to stick with geometric patters since the tope is easier to maneuver.

step-2 Use different color paints to make design pop. Let dry for 2+ hours.

step-3 Move pallets separately to location of wedding or shoot then stack them. Once they are stacked use plumbers plastic hanger straps to connect all the palettes safely. Make sure that palettes are secure once on display.

Summer Beach Wedding in Orange County

Here, folks, we have the quintessential fun, colorful summer wedding. Bright florals from Theresa Hoefnagels help set the tone — I imagine just as much as all the kids running around and laughing. (we couldn’t include every adorable kid picture, so take a peek at the full gallery for more flower girl and ring bearer inspiration). So sit back and enjoy some beautiful moments captured by Eliza J. Photography.

From Eliza J. PhotographyWarm wind on sandy skin, flowers blooming in the hot sun, orange soda on a bicycle..what’s not to love? It was the perfect beach wedding for Krystelle and Stephen. Every detail was so well planned out. All the table settings were marked with significant dates in their relationship for people to read and chat about around the dinner table. Children climbing in the the tree house, swinging on swings, eating strawberries and lemonade and dressing up to take a picture at the photo booth! It was truly a day unlike any other and one that we all will remember for forever.
