The Viceroy is a venue that screams chic. Some of our favorite weddings on SMP have taken place in that stylish setting, so when a team of talents gets together to glam it up even more, we pay attention. Well this shoot from Robyn Rachel and Brit Bertino is worthy of some serious QT today. It’s modern meets old Hollywood, and the combination is just divine. See even more here.
From Robyn Rachel Photography…When coming up with a concept for the inspiration shoot at the Viceroy Hotel Santa Monica, we wanted to do something that was very chic and glamorous with pops of pink and gold as well as black and white stripes. The model bride wore stunning couture wedding gown that helped inspire the shoot. We wanted to create a unique style for each of the bridesmaids putting them in different colored dresses as well as creating a new take on hair and makeup options.
The stunning sequins linen paired perfectly with the striped chairs and napkins to provide texture and dimension. The beautiful centerpiece donned hydrangeas, white roses and cascading orchids. A simply divine dessert station was inspired by Viceroys play on old Hollywood with a modern twist. 1930s painted cabinets with modern accessories complimented all the fabulous sweets.
