Romantic Outdoor Escondido Engagement Session

The outdoors just became a whole lot more romantic after going through this gallery of gorgeousness from Aga Jones. Capturing the love between these cuties, she wandered all over from fields to creeks and as you scroll through, it just keeps getting better and better. Fall in love with Mother Nature – and this perfect pair – right here!

From the Bride-to-be… When looking for a photographer, our main priority was to find someone that captured “us.” We wanted our photos to look romantic, soft, and authentic; nothing forced. When we came across Aga Jones’ work, we instantly fell in love! We were confident that she would be able to deliver the unique and intimate photos we were looking for, as well as the level of technique and professionalism that we desired. She was wonderfully personable, and she was invested in our vision.

In regards to location, we wanted an outside setting with natural lighting. While that all can be achieved with sunsets and sand, we wanted to veer away from the beach and find something a little more secluded. Aga is based in San Diego, only miles away from our wedding venue, and she suggested a beautiful forest with tall grass, lush trees, and a small creek. After seeing her previous work at this location, we were confident Aga would exceed all our expectations… and she did! We are so pleased with our engagement photos. They are genuine, refined, and dreamy. We feel lucky to have a photographer that is equally dedicated to her clients, as she is her craft.

From A Stunning AffairVisiting Bandy Canyon Ranch for the first time, Ryan and Lindsey knew that this would be the perfect outdoor escape from the bustling noise of Los Angeles for their wedding celebration. Its secluded rustic location in San Pasqual Valley and its camp (or “glamp”) like feel with on-site accommodations, made it the ideal venue for a weekend celebration with all of their family and close friends. The site also reminded Lindsey of her family cabin back in the Midwest, made all the more memorable for both the bride and groom since it was where Ryan met Lindsey’s father for the first and only time before he passed away.

Giant eucalyptus trees lined the road as guests made their way to Bandy Canyon. Upon arrival, all were greeted with fresh lavender lemonade labeled with the bride and groom’s heart tags featuring the “L + R” symbol. Sipping their refreshing beverage from mason jars with striped straws, invitees stayed cool under whimsical parasols shading them from the warmth of the afternoon sun. Ryan and Lindsey incorporated their love of traveling in the guestbook by setting up a travel table and asking everyone to share their favorite trips along with any insider tips….great inspirations for future travel plans.

The spacious grassy ceremony area was decorated with dark wood pedestals complete with a rustic lantern and overflowing with ivory, peach and soft pink flowers. As they entered the aisle, guests were greeted with a wooden sign saying, “Happily Ever After Starts Here”.

The groom and groomsmen looked dashing in blue-grey suits with mint green ties and were complemented by the lovely bridesmaids dressed in pastel mint colored gowns. The stunning bride, accompanied by her mother, was adorned in a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown. Ryan and Lindsey recited vows under a rustic gazebo, embellished with lace fabric and sprays of blooming flowers.

Following the ceremony invitees enjoyed the cocktail hour sipping “Blue Bubbly” and the “Dirty Ahnald” signature cocktails, sampling delicious appetizers and listening to live musicians. Everyone also had the opportunity to play a few rounds of Cornhole, customized by the bride to include the signature, “L+R” symbol.

The reception followed as guests made their way down a path to their wooden rectangular tables complete with vintage lace runners, vintage dinner plates and silver charger plates. The center of each table was adorned with soft candlelight and surrounded by a variety of containers filled with gorgeous pastel garden roses, dahlias, peonies and succulents.

Dancing the night away and enjoying the music, everyone was entertained by an eight piece band performing under a canopy of lights. As Ryan and Lindsey cut their delicious wedding cake displayed on a vintage cart, guests were also treated to decadent desserts, brownies, lemon bars and key lime tartlets designed to appease their palates.

Lindsey and Ryan truly accomplished their wish: to ensure that everyone was dancing and having fun, and enjoying the rustic feel of Bandy Ranch inspired by Lindsey’s cabin (i.e. mismatched china, wooden tables, lanterns, mismatched furniture) and how the bride leveraged flea markets to help decorate her special day: her wedding.

No doubt, everyone had an amazing time, a day that they will never forget!

Bohemian

From Luxe Events….Vita & Simon came to us wishing for a Garden Bohemian wedding design with some Moroccan influenced undertones. The rustic vineyard was the perfect backdrop to bring in color and gardeny goodness. To create the effortless but fancied up boho look we mixed unique elements such as colored goblets, crystal vases, brassy urns and and candlesticks holding vibrant jewel tone flowers and lush greenery. Stunning patterned linens in shades of gray, dusty lavender, and cream host the colorful table settings. Dark wood chairs, vintage wood handled utensils, and the rustic vineyard itself add a masculine balance to the bright color palette. We wanted some fancier finishes on the settings, and selected gold rimmed wine glasses and chargers to amp up the fancy factor. Vita had a vision for a unique chandelier. When we could not find just the right thing we enlisted Tam to create the perfect addition to the wedding, a stunning bougainvillea filled floral chandelier that serves as the centerpiece of the reception.

From Isari Flower StudioVita wanted to be standing under a rustic arbor dripping with vines and bougainvilleas, she selected one of our that was featured on SMP, a beach stylize photo shoot, which looks so dreamy. However once we knew she was exchanging her vow in front of that rolling hills and vineyard back drop of Orfila it was going to be magical! Befitting the landscape yet bold enough that it lends a beautiful focal during the ceremony, the 2 aisle entrance arrangements was also an interpretation of a large combination of similar theme blooms to welcome guests and wedding party to frame.

The reception area in the tent emphasize a bohemian yet regal vibe, with her color choices of bold purples using summer dahlias, magenta shade clematis, ruffled garden roses, deep and saturated late summer hydrangeas, hot pink roses lush greeneries off set with peach shade spray roses, trailing vines and berries for textural interest. The eclectic long table scape of multiple pieces of silver and gold elegant vintage goblets, containers, pitchers etc. combined with silver and Florentine trays surrounded with gold kissed votive cups add a touch of european romance to the evening. The large floral wreath hanging from the center of the dance floor, and the dessert table spread with florals and vines ends the evening on a rustic note.
