From the Bride… I wanted our wedding to be a representation of who Matt and I are as people; laid back but very much in love. During the stresses of wedding planning, it’s easy to get stuck on making every detail “perfect” but it’s important to come back down to the main theme and go with something that truly illustrates who you are inside and out! We went with a soft, romantic feel with pops of bright colors against muted tones of green, a color combination that has been my favorite since I was a little girl. Seeing our ceremony site for the first time took my breath away. I was looking at my vision, a sheer idea on paper come to life on the most beautiful California summer day, and the best part… there was a groom waiting at the end of the Aisle to marry me.

From the Bride… My wedding planning process was wonderful, tedious, fun, and beyond any strenuous occurrence I have ever been through in my life! As the over planner and perfectionist that I have always been, planning my wedding completely alone was quite the overwhelming process, but I do believe it personally served me well as I was able to create the wedding vision I always dreamed of! Best of all, I was able to marry my incredible husband!
I grew up in Santa Cruz, CA with the beaches and harbor as my “backyard” and have always dreamed of having a barefoot beach wedding since I was a little girl! Being the born and raised beach lover that I am, I knew the sand and sea would absolutely need to be a part of our ‘Big Day’. Marrying the musician (& Beatles fan!) that I did, I also knew a Beatles music theme would be a wonderful and unique blend to our wedding!
The happiest moment of our ‘Big Day’ was undoubtable the moment I saw my groom at the end of the aisle, sweetly tearing up as I walked towards him. I knew my life would never be the same again, and I could not wait to become my husband’s wife!
All of my vendors were absolutely wonderful! I truly was so fortunate to have found every single one of them considering I had decided to cause myself quite a bit of extra stress by choosing all “outside” venue vendors.
