From the Bride… We were married in Palm Springs, California on February 23, 2013. The house was a vacation home rented through Room Service furniture store, The White House.  We loved the modern Palm Springs vibe. Our wedding was a success because of our amazing family and friends.  So much love was poured into this day! Our goal was to make this day “us” and to have everyone we loved involved in the process.

This was definitely a DIY event on a budget. I made many trips to the thrift stores to buy enough glass vases for each table. Every vase was uniquely decorated with lace and twine. We used wood, nails and yarn to create our guestbook.  Guests snapped a picture, wrote a message and clipped their picture to the board.  Our wedding theme was Lucky in Love.  We had a large decal printed for decoration and made a floating sign for the pool. We also had Krispy Kreme doughnuts for dessert and a photo booth with balloons. Flowers, set up and planning was all done by us and our family and friends.  The hanging birds decoration was made for us by our friend and bridesmaid, Sabrina Fox.  Each favor was half spray painted with the colors of the wedding.
